May 14, 2024 Orange County Board of Education Runoff Election
Orange County will conduct a runoff election for the Orange County Board of Education contest on May 14, 2024. The candidates are Bonnie Hauser and Jennifer Moore. All voters, 18 and older, who reside in the Orange County School District, will be eligible to vote in the runoff election regardless of their registered party or unaffiliated status. April 28: Cedar Grove Rural Democrats Adopt-a-Highway Trash Pickup 8-10:30 am. Meet at the AMOCO gas station located at 3517 NC 86N, Hillsborough
April 28: What’s at Stake in the 2024 Election in NC? A talk by Gene Nichols, Whitted Building, Hillsborough, 3:30 to 5pm.
May 2: Ready to Make a Difference in the NC election? A talk by Christine Ashley, Regional Field Director for Down Home NC presented by Neighbor to Neighbor Rural Organizing Committee (N2N-ROC).
May 8: Democratic Women of Orange County, 7pm via Zoom.
May 14: Election Day for Orange County School Board Run-Off Election.
May 15: Lunch and Learn Series with OCDP Chair Cassie Rice, 12 to 1pm, OCDP Office, Carrboro, NC.
May 18: Coffee with OCDP Chair Cassie Rice, 9:30 to 10:30 in Chapel Hill/Carrboro (location TBA).

The Orange Democratic Party is an all-volunteer group of energized, committed individuals who bring their talents and time to the teamwork of getting out every vote for Democrats. We have substantive work to organize for the 2024 General Election. By volunteering with us, you will apply your skills (or develop new ones!), make new friends, and have a positive impact by helping to elect leaders who will fight for North Carolinians and their future.
