* Indicates Orange County Democratic Party event

March 17 is the first day to request an absentee ballot.
It's 50 days until Primary Day—that means that you can now begin requesting absentee ballots. Turnout is going to be a key to victory on May 6, and we need you to vote, as well as all your family and friends. Absentee balloting is a great way to help make voting convenient for everyone.

You can still vote absentee whether or not you will be in town on May 6—no excuse necessary. To request an absentee ballot you must personally write a request to your county Board of Elections that includes the following:

1. Your name
2. Address (residence AND address where the ballot should be mailed)
3. Party Affiliation
4. Date of Birth
5. Telephone Number
6. Signature

The request must be received by the Board of Elections by April 29, one week before Primary Day.
Click here to find the mailing address for your county's board of elections. An absentee ballot will be mailed to you soon after your request is received. You must then mail the completed ballot back to the board of elections. To be counted, ballots must be received by 5pm on the day before the election (May 5th).
