Dear fellow Democrats,
In anticipation of our County Convention on April 9, we have posted a draft of new resolutions to be discussed and voted on. This document can be downloaded as a pdf file at http://orangedems.com/pdfs/OCDPPRCReporttoConvention2005.pdf.
As was mentioned in an earlier enews, at the County Convention we will also elect new OCDP officers. The nominating committee consists of Mariah McPherson, Connie Mullinix, Samantha Cabe, Tom Tillett, and Barry Katz. The Committee will review interested candidates and make recommendations based on pertinent experience and time available to pursue officer's responsibilities. Please submit candidates' names to: candidate@orangedems.com. Other nominations from the County Convention floor are welcome.
The County Convention will be held at the new Courthouse on East Margaret Lane, Hillsborough. Lunch will start at 11:30 and the meeting about 1-1:30.
