Dear fellow Democrats,
The Orange County Democratic Party held its annual County Convention on April 9 at the Orange County Courthouse in Hillsborough, NC. Over 200 persons registered for the Convention, including a number of elected officials, an impressive attendance given the fact that it is not a major election year. The large participation indicates the growing concern over the direction our country is headed and the recognition that we must remain politically engaged to protect the well-being of our families, our communities, and our democracy. Thanks to all who attended the Convention.
The main order of business was to elect new officers, State Executive Committee members, and delegates to the District Convention, and to consider resolutions. Click here for election results and resolutions.
