SEVERAL REPUTABLE SOURCES HAVE INDICATED THAT BLACK BOX
VOTING IS HIGHLY SUSCEPTIBLE TO CORRUPTION AND VOTE FRAUD.
DIEBOLD BLACK BOXES WERE USED in 2 NC COUNTIES, DIEBOLD VOTE
SCANNING in 20 COUNTIES.

Thank for your your polite and informative response. I hope that you got
a chance to acquaint yourself with the serious charges against Diebold.
Diebold and other evote corporations have expressed strong partisan
leanings and there is much evidence of vote fraud wherever their
machines are used. You wrote:

I have to correct you there. It is a VERY BIG problem and that is the
reason for my letter. Please refer to www.blackboxvoting.org to find out
WHY it's a problem. You wrote:

procedures, and the best practices of our election administrators."/
This is another problematic statement. How can you speak for the total
integrity of every single person working in the BOE departments
throughout this entire state? How can you call it "best practices" to
hire a company like Diebold, whose CEO gloated back in 2003, "We're
going to deliver Ohio to Bush!" and who has been implicated in other
fraudulent dealings in the past.
I believe that law is the essence of democracy, but I also realize that
NC Law is as susceptible to abuse as that of any other state, and has
its share of shortcomings. Moreover, law can be twisted and warped to
protect the rich and powerful and oppress the poor and voiceless. For
example, the loopholes in NC criminal law have allowed several criminal
defehhndants to be executed with less than due process, in spite of
continuous protests from African American leaders, religious leaders and
victim's families. The moratorium vote (backed by a majority of North
Carolinians) was shelved due to political expediency -- and the death march
continues. If NC can execute its own citizens without the certainty of their guilt, then
complicity in vote fraud cannot be so easley dismissed.

Today I was reading a website for progressive Democrats call *democraticunderground.com *and another called* democrats.com*. The authors discussed the WIDESPREAD ELECTION FRAUD in North Carolina. Now this may not be true, but I must have PROOF that it's not true. If it is, then I must, as a citizen of NC, challenge the NC election results and request a full explanation of the USE OF DIEBOLD EMPLOYEES in the Nov 2 election. You may not know that there are */very significant/* conflicts of interests involved in Diebold's electoral involvement./ /

You may not feel that you owe me an explanation, but you do. I will not move on and I will not forget. You see, I am a patriot (not the phony kind) and I will not tolerate having my voting rights abused nor my civil liberties abridged. These are the true emblems of freedom and the proud possessions of every true American patriot. Those who attempt to steal our freedoms are traitors against the ideals of the Amertican constituation and Bill of Rights. It's that simple..
1) If Diebold employees were used, please explain the decision making process for hiring them, which state official decided to ask Diebold to send their employees to NC, who approved it, how these people were utilized and how they were monitored.
2) Please explain why proper electoral procedures were not carried out across the state. The Boards of Election had FOUR YEARS to prepare for this very important election.
3) Please explain what you plan to do to expedite a recount of the Nov 2 election. Thanks for your assistance.
