OCDW Candidates Forum

Which elected officials have a greater impact on the quality of your daily life?  The President?  The Governor?  Or the Orange County Commissioners and the Orange County Sheriff?

Who determines the funding levels for SCHOOLS and other SOCIAL SERVICES in our communities?  Who determines the QUALITY OF LAW ENFORCEMENT and sets the tone for maintaining order and THE QUALITY OF LIFE so prized in Orange County?  Who decides the level of taxation locally and what your tax dollars will support?

Local officials are the often overlooked arbiters of these important issues!   Deciding who will receive your vote for the Board of County Commissioners and the Office of Sheriff is at least as important as deciding who to support for governor!  Democratic candidates for these important offices will be facing off in the May 4th Democratic Primary.

COME TO THE OCDW FORUM ON MARCH 25TH, 7:30 PM AT OWASA, hear the candidates give unrehearsed answers and have a chance to ask a question yourself!  Meet the candidates for Orange County Commissioner and Sheriff in person!  Don’t miss this opportunity!

Please send any question/s you have as a response to this e-mail.  We will compile these questions, using as many as possible on Thursday night, the 25th.
